HDFC Bank Statement PDF Password
Your HDFC Bank statement PDF is password-protected. Here's how to open it.
What Is the Password?
HDFC Bank typically uses one of these password formats:
- Your date of birth in DDMMYYYY format (e.g., 22071985 for July 22, 1985)
- Your Customer ID (the 8-digit number shown on your HDFC welcome letter, passbook, or NetBanking profile)
- First 4 letters of your name in CAPS + last 4 digits of your account number (for some account types)
The most common format is your date of birth in DDMMYYYY. Try this first.
How to Download Your HDFC Statement
- NetBanking: Login → Accounts → Savings Account → Request Statement → Download PDF
- HDFC Mobile App: Login → Accounts → Select Account → Statement → Download
- Email: HDFC also sends monthly e-statements to your registered email
How to Convert Your HDFC Statement
Once you've opened the PDF:
- Go to BankConv's HDFC converter
- Upload your statement PDF — BankConv handles password-protected files automatically
- Select your output format (CSV, Excel, OFX, Google Sheets)
- Download your structured data
HDFC statements typically include: date, narration, value date, debit, credit, and closing balance. BankConv maps these into clean columns automatically.
Password Still Not Working?
- Double-check the date format — HDFC uses DDMMYYYY (day first, not month first)
- For joint accounts, try the primary holder's date of birth
- Try your Customer ID (visible in NetBanking under Profile)
