SBI Statement PDF Password

Your SBI bank statement PDF is password-protected. Here's how to open it.

What Is the Password?

SBI typically uses one of these password formats:

  • Your date of birth in DDMMYYYY format (e.g., 15031990 for March 15, 1990)
  • First 4 letters of your name in CAPS + date of birth in DDMM (e.g., RAJE1503)
  • Your SBI Customer ID (the numeric ID shown in your passbook or YONO app)

Try each of these if the first one doesn't work. The format can vary depending on when your account was opened and how the statement was generated (branch request vs YONO app vs OnlineSBI).

How to Download Your SBI Statement

  1. YONO App: Go to Accounts → Select Account → View Statement → Download as PDF
  2. OnlineSBI: Login → My Accounts & Profile → Account Statement → Select date range → Download PDF

How to Convert Your SBI Statement

Once you can open the PDF, convert it to CSV, Excel, or any other format:

  1. Go to BankConv's SBI converter
  2. Upload your statement PDF — BankConv handles password-protected files automatically
  3. Select your output format (CSV, Excel, OFX, Google Sheets)
  4. Download your converted data

Your output will include columns for: date, narration/description, debit amount, credit amount, and closing balance.

Password Still Not Working?

  • Make sure you're using the correct date format (DD/MM/YYYY, not MM/DD/YYYY)
  • Try using just the numeric date without any separators
  • If you changed your name on the account, try the original name
  • Contact your SBI branch or call SBI customer care at 1800-11-2211 for assistance
